Travelling through the enchanted medieval world of hamlets and breathtaking landscapes, you will find places rich with rural heritage and ancient traditions, which seem to have been almost forgotten by time.
Throughout this medieval hamlet-crawling you will be accompanied by the figure of San Venanzio da Camerino, the emblem of our website, who was devotedly worshipped in central Italy in the Medieval period.

Let yourself be guided through a virtual journey where you may discover these fascinating ancient villages; you may create your own itinerary or take advantage of itineraries devised by us (Suggested Itinerary) and then e-mail us your request by filling in our Questionnaire, in order to receive your personalized travel estimate.

Whenever our proposals meet your expectations and you decide to book your journey with us, you have two possibilities for payments: credit card through Pay Pal or Bank Transfer.

Our website offers you four options:
* Create your own itinerary in full autonomy;
* take advantage of itineraries devised by us (Suggested Itinerary);
* select packages revolving around the many upcoming events (Special events) which include Medieval celebrations, folklore events and sagre, typical Italian open-air wine and food banquets;
* take advantage of our new proposals for short weekends (Escape Package) linked to leisure culture and art activities.

All the accommodation options displayed in the site are created on the base of an offer’s subdivision in two price ranges: the Farm House-Bed&Breakfast, medium top range, and the Country Inn- Realis, top range.


A walk throughout Medieval hamlets.

Ancient Dream’s home page displays a map of Italy whereby you can access both regions, Umbria and Marche, in three different ways: by using the link on the side menu, by using the link placed on the toolbar menu or straight through clicking on the map.
On the page relative to Umbria, you will find 12 districts, representing an ancient territory division, by which the region is more commonly known - from North to South: Città di Castello, Gubbio,Trasimeno, Perugia, Assisi, Foligno, Todi, Orvieto, Spoleto, Valnerina, Terni e Amelia. Marche, instead, is divided into its four provinces: Pesaro-Urbino, Macerata, Ancona and Ascoli Piceno.
In this page you will find two icons: the two wayfares icon (Suggested itinerary), which visualises the list of itineraries devised by us following an on location (Region) survey and the chariot which is a helper in the creation of your personalised itinerary.
By clicking on a district or province you will be addressed to the page dedicated to the specific territory, with relevant map comprising the medieval hamlets which we have personally selected and visited.
Ancient Dream’s website allows you to click on all the hamlets to visualise small glimpses of landscapes from the paintings of XVII century Marche artist Francesco Mingucci.

In the same page three icons will help you to navigate through the web site:

* the chariot is the helper which will assist you through the creation of your personal itinerary;
* the bed (Accommodations), sends you to the web page concerning the types of accommodation facilities we work with. Inside it you can find a short description and some pictures which will help you to select the right property to suit your taste. The icon of a parchment placed on the side will allow you to add the selected accommodation into your parchment/trolley. The icon of Italy placed below will show you the location of all the accommodation facilities in the district/province; * the two wayfarers (Suggested Itineraries), allow you to visualise the list of itineraries devised by us on the territory (district/province).

Two possible itineraries can be chosen at this stage:

* a journey through the medieval hamlets, on a guided tour of a selection of your favourite places;
* or, click on the two wayfarers and let us conduct you onto the suggested itineraries.


A journey through the Medieval hamlets.

* By clicking on the icon of the medieval hamlet you will access the page of the selected site; together with a short description of the site’s history, its environs and main listings, a picture gallery made by us, will give you an idea of its ancient beauties; * beside the name, the hourglass icon indicates the time we estimated for the visit, on the hypothesis of visiting all the listings and their surroundings;
* also in this case, by clicking the icon of the bed (Accommodations), you will be addresses to a web page displaying the type description of the accommodation facilities we work with. This includes a short description with pictures to help you on the choice of a property that will match your taste. On the side the icon of the parchment will allow you to add the chosen accommodation in the trolley/parchment. Below an icon of Italy indicates the location of the accommodation facilities in the district/province;
* by clicking on the parchment, which therefore functions as a trolley, you can add the viewed Medieval hamlet to your personal itinerary;
* once the site has been inserted, the parchment will be viewed below the icons, here you will find the chosen hamlets and/or accommodations.

The operation can simply be repeated as frequently as needed to suite your tastes and create your personalised itinerary in the parchment. Have fun travelling amid these enchanted sites and when you decide to end your navigation session around our website, press the “confirm” key and you will be transferred to the costs estimate request and forward to us page. Precast itineraries.

* Once you have clicked on the two wayfarers icon, a window will be visualised with a list of our itineraries. By selecting one of these entries, you will be transferred to the web page relevant to the selected itinerary containing a thorough description of the listings, some pictures of the area, and a map with the route;
* a chart placed at the bottom of the page will give you an approximate idea of the costs of the itinerary, subdivided into two price ranges, established according to the type of accommodations: Country Inn & Relais or Agriturismi and Bed & Breakfast;
* at the top, the hourglass shows the estimated visit time including the visit to all the Medieval hamlets listed;
* the icon of the bed (Accommodations), addresses you to the web page which describes the type of accommodation facilities we work with. This includes a short description with pictures to help you on the choice of a property that will match your taste. On the side the icon of a parchment will allow you to add the selected accommodation in your trolley/parchment. Below an icon of Italy pinpoints the location of the accommodation facilities in the district/province;
* by clicking on the parchment inside the itinerary web page you can add the described itinerary to the trolley/parchment.

Once you have selected the itinerary and the relevant accommodations, beneath the icons you parchment will appear with a list of your choices.
From this section of the website it is possible to combine the selected itinerary with other itineraries or add new medieval hamlets which will then be displayed in the personalised itinerary in the parchment. Enjoy the trip through these enchanted places and in the end, when you are ready to leave the website, press the “confirm” key to be transferred to the costs estimate request page to be sent to us. By clicking Special Events option on the home page toolbar menu you will connect to the web page dedicated to the scores of medieval celebrations, folklore festivals and street wine and food banquets, the sagre, across the two regions.
Here you will be able to find a description of our package proposals, and the possibility to be addressed straight to the relative accommodation/province, for a better understanding of the territory where the event takes place (press button: Go to district); download the pdf document, inside which you will find the details of the package created for that event (Tasto: Scarica verdione PDF).
Once you have selected the event, you can add it to the trolley/parchment (Button: Add to the trip) and request the personalised costs estimate; by pressing the “confirm” key to go to the page which will allow you to forward your request to us (Questionnaire).

Getaway Packages.

From the Home Page, by clicking the Getaway package option, a page with our short stays (2-4 days) proposals linked to the leisure, culture and art activities will be displayed. Stays can include cooking, language classes wine tasting, SPA and relaxation, ski, horse riding, wine and food and art itineraries, which take place within the Bel Paese.
Here you can find a short description of our proposed Getaway packages, with the possibility to download a pdf document with the details comprised in the package, (Button: Download PDF verdione); or to add the event in your trolley/parchment (key: Add to trip).
